The ACA is a not-for-profit virtual professional association with actual presence in the world of communication scholars and practitioners. This is a Yahoo listserv group and membership is free.
American Marketing Association (AMA)
AMA is a good source of information, education, and conference events on a very wide cross-section of marketing topics. You must be a registered member to get complete access to all the publications, but there is a great deal of information available to non-members.
Association for Women in Communications (AWC)
The Association for Women in Communications is a professional organization that champions the advancement of women across all communications disciplines. Web site resources are only available to members.
Business Marketing Association (BMA)
Business Marketing Association is an association focused on business-to-business marketing and communications. Access to industry articles and white papers are available online to non-members.
Council of Communications Management (CCM)
The Council of Communications Management is a forum for seasoned professionals to share best practices in organizational communications. CCM has a network of several hundred senior strategic communicators, representing companies and consultancies of all sizes. You must be a member to access the online resources.
International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)
The IABC is a global professional network of more than 14,000 business communication professionals in over 70 countries. Members are engaged in strategic business communication management and typically specialize in writing, design, creative services, marketing, positioning and technology. Most of the information is accessible to members only.
